Microsoft is constantly working to make the Edge app better. While it started as a barebones app, it already got a lot of useful features like extensions and a dark theme. All essential features are configurable through its options but there are some features from IE that haven't made it yet to Microsoft Edge.
Like all other popular browsers, Edge allows the user to have tabs from your previous browsing session restored when it is next launched. Just like Firefox or Chrome, the browser can save your tab session and load it the next time. This function is not enabled by default, but you can quickly enable it.
Make Edge Browser Open Tabs from Previous Browsing Session
Here is what you have to do to make Microsoft Edge open tabs from the last browsing session on startup.
- Launch the Edge browser.
- Click the three dots '..' menu button.
- Click the Settings menu item. Settings will be opened:
- Scroll down to the section 'Open Microsoft Edge with' and select the item Previous pages in the dropdown list as shown below:
You are done.
The ability to restore the last browsing session is part of the browser's session recovery mechanism. Every time you close the app, it saves the last browsing session to the following folder:
You can copy and paste the line above to File Explorer's address bar to explore that folder.
If Edge crashes, it uses the information stored in that folder to load the tabs which were open when the crash occurred, so you won't have to re-open them manually.
Once you have enabled the Previous pages option, Edge uses the same recovery information every time you open it and restores the tabs you had opened previously before you closed the browser. This is a very useful option.
What is your startup page in Edge? Do you prefer a specific web site, a blank page or are you restoring the tabs from the previous browsing session?

I tend to keep a lot of tabs open in my browser. Some of them are pages I haven't had a chance to read yet, while others are items I'm queuing to write about in the coming days. The thing is, I don't want to leave my computer running just so I can keep all these tabs 'live.' Nor do I want to bookmark them, as I don't intend to store them permanently.
Fortunately, my browser offers an easy way to keep tabs open from one session to the next. And there's a good chance yours does, too--no plug-ins or extensions required. This option is available in Chrome and Firefox. Alas, if there's a way to do likewise in Internet Explorer 9, I haven't found it.
Here's how to enable the option in Chrome (shown above):
1. Click the little wrench at the far right of the address bar.
2. Click Options.
3. In the Basics section, enable Reopen the pages that were open last. Then close that Options tab. (It's weird how Chrome doesn't really have a Save option, but that's how it rolls.)
Google Keeps Opening Tabs
It's a very similar process in Firefox:
1. Click the orange Firefox button, mouse over Options, then click Options. (If you don't have the orange button, click Tools, Options.)
2. In the General tab, click the pull-down next to 'When Firefox starts,' then choose Show my windows and tabs from last time.
3. Click OK.
In both browsers, the change goes into effect immediately, meaning that when you close the browser, whatever tabs you currently have open will reappear when you run it again. Handy, no?

Recently (starting about 2 weeks ago), when I click on something (usually a link) in Chrome (on Windows 7), there is probably a 1-5% chance (a couple of times per day) Chrome will open this page on a new tab:
I didn't install any new extension, I doubt it is caused by extensions.
Another weird behaviour (that may or may not be related):
Starting about a month ago, is when I click a link with target=_blank, it is sometimes opening it in the same tab.

I'm not the only one seeing Phone Emails: See this similar thread
Anyone has any idea what this could be?
EDIT:
After a full week of enabling/disabling extensions, I finally found that it was caused by an extension called Video Grabber (not in Chrome Web Store anymore) that I might have installed years ago.

Wow that's a very unlikely that something legitimate is auto opening that site ,
It probably is because you clicked something .Try this, I found it useful to me.
- Check your extensions. Make sure there is nothing weird on there.
- Reinstall Chrome
- Check installed software in your PC. Make sure no software was installed without your permission. If there is some, remove it.
If these steps don't resolve your problem, try switching browsers.
Steam workshop skyrim mods. Oh you're using phone right, so if I've faced this problem , Below suggestions might help
1.Check is there any apk(application either from playstore or others) were installed. Identify what application and then google it if other user might face the same problem.2.Recheck your chrome settings. Make sure nothing weird on there
Otherwise, this is my opinion. Sometimes I have installed certain games and application from 3rd party and then after installing and use it for few times. Sometimes, either once a day or more chrome automatically open up and went to certain sites in playstore. Its nothing to do with virus bzoc that is another way of promoting certain application to people. 100 % not virus I think bcoz it linked up with playstore. If link to another website then it may be.

Ok so this isn't new to me, I have had this happen a few times, but managed to fix it, but this time it wont fix and is driving me nuts, every so often chrome will open some sort of dodgy page like. HOW TO EARN MONEY HOW TO EARN THOUSANDS IN HOURS.. and one of the websites is some sort of windows support microsoft scam that pops up alerting there' s virus on my computer. and call this number to remove. the link is https://storage.googleapis.com, (I wouldn't advise to go on it). and some other things that pop up now and then, cannot remember..
basically I have tried the obvious to fix it.. this includes the following
Removed any unwanted programs
Scanned with adwcleaner
Scanned with malwarebytes
Scanned with my main anti virus McAfee..
removed anything that came up in that search.. and yet it doesn't do anything.
